Ramsey is a market town, which grew around the Benedictine abbey. Although the Abbey is no longer present, it’s gateway is still there. Other features in the town include: Ramsey Wall Garden, Ramsey Mortuary Chapels and Ramsey Rural Museum.
Ramsey Rural Museum

The Ramsey Rural Museum is a museum which reflects the history of agricultural life. Exhibits open on the weekend include: the Fen Cottage depicting life in the Fens in the 1940s and Pump Room depicting drainage of the Fens.
