Family Activities

Free Fascinating fens colour me in cards downloads:

If you know someone who is need of cheering up at the moment, why not download these free colour me in cards. Print them, colour them in and send them to someone you want to make smile. There is even space for your own message on the front of the card. There are two designs: Wizzy the hedgehog in the garden with a rainbow and owls across the fens. A great activity for children or adults. Please also feel free to share pictures of your completed ones on fascinating fens social media pages.

Future Projects, activities and events…

Greet with a seat: A project aimed at helping businesses and venues to understand the importance of providing a seat for customers, clients and visitors to be able to rest if they have limited mobility or fatigue, which may help them to feel they can access places easier. The logo will help show people that businesses support this campaign.

Previous Fascinating fen projects, activities and events…

Other previous Fascinating Fens Events:

Fascinating fens has participated in several previous events including: helping to repair an eel at the Babylon for the eel day parade, providing a drawing for a kids colouring in competition at Soham pumpkin fair and attending the Madhatters campsite open event. We have also participated in “meet the author” events at Wisbech library and Prickwillow museum. If you would like fascinating to help or attend your event, please email us.

Fascinating fens have also created “colour me in” Christmas, notelets and Easter cards which feature or make reference to many Fen places/traditions. In 2018, bundles of these were given for free to brownies, the library and the tourist information. They can be purchased at various events. A free colouring card/map/bookmark featuring Muscovy and Eeli is available at Ely train station.

Great opportunities to buy a gift or souvenir of the fens.
